Fantastic Four: First Steps

I animated a standalone logo for Fantastic Four: First Steps that cycled between each of the powers of the four heroes. This logo was stationary and loopable, so it could be projected huge on the side of buildings for Digital Outdoor advertising or else found as an easter egg in certain AR or VR apps.

From shimmering force fields to sizzling fire, from breaking through rocks to stretching like rubber, a lot of work went into making each power look good and transition into the next power in a cool and logical way. I did everything from computerized fire and physics simulations, to good ol' keyframe animation and compositing trickery to make this all happen.
