I designed and animated an ad for CBS for a new programming block on their channel that featured all three of their current FBI shows: FBI, FBI: Most Wanted, and FBI: International.

I took inspiration from microfiche records, as though an investigator was searching for clues amongst old records, trying to find the culprit in a crime. Each of the three shows represented had to have a different feel in their sections, so you'd be able to tell every show apart from each other at a glance.

Plastic overlays with accurate town names fold into place and parallax over top of map imagery, adding a sense of depth, purpose, and recognizable landmarks.

Manual "corrections" to the framing and depth of field were done, to give the piece an analog, organic feel.

The final pull-through stacks many lens distortion and chromatic aberration effects on top of each other, giving a sense that the camera is passing through lens after lens, summarizing our whole investigation up.
